My theory is that in my genetic thread, ‘son of a short lad’ originated as a joke name for a very tall man; my dad’s family is rife with them. He was already 6 feet tall when he was 12 years old. 5 more inches to go. When I was born, I was not particularly heavy; instead, I was long, and I also got my height way early. Thank God I wasn’t 6 feet. The spelling I am familiar with is Kilgore
